Founder Members

Mr. Chintu Patel - R.Ph. - Co-Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chairman, Co-Founder Amneal Pharmaceuticals (India) Pvt. Ltd.

Chintu Patel is the leading founder members of Irada Foundation. He had a vision of building an innovative pharmaceutical company based upon quality and integrity has guided every chapter of the Amneal story. Formerly a pharmacist, he has over 20 years of distinguished experience within the industry and has been recognized by his peers on numerous occasions including the 2011 Ernst & Young National Entrepreneur of the Year Life Sciences Award. He is an ardent philanthropist dedicated to supporting both business and non-profit organizations including a variety of charitable foundations and holds a bachelor's degree from Rutgers College of Pharmacy.

Mrs. Falguni Patel

In these early times, being a philanthropist was an acceptable role for Mrs. Falgunipatel, giving was often tied to her husband's or family's wealth. Through philanthropy, she engaged herself in public interest issues and built civic and social connections.

Mrs. Falguni Patel helped to shape family and society by offering her time, commitment and support. Leading the Irada foundation, she sought her power to gather support to promote women's issues .Most of these addressed issues that interested and affected her are such as breast cancer, Primary education for poor, and Health and Sanitation in Rural India. She volunteers her efforts through by funding Primary education for poor students, Conducting Breast Cancer Advocacy Campaigns in Rural villages of India and Health & Sanitation Workshops for School children. Mrs Falguni Patel efforts enable other women and young girls in Rural India to prosper, and also provide insight to the world of philanthropy and the nonprofit sector.

Vision

Irada Foundation envisages in creating an enabling environment through awareness generation, motivating the underprivileged and contributes towards national development.

Mission

Improving overall quality of life of communities through long term and sustainable interventions in the area of Public Health & Education, Preventive Social Medicines and encourage and involving volunteerism from various society groups.

Aim

All ideal aspirations have humble beginnings and so is Irada Foundation endeavour. Our mission is to address and initiate corrective measures for issues like Cancer into totality, Health & Medical Services and Safe Drinking water system in Rural India that are threatening and weakening our country's progress and also the quality of life.

We aim to achieve awareness and advocacy, eradicate unhealthy conditions, develop better sanitation practices, uplift and instil confidence among the weaker sections of the society. Our services focus on assessing individual strengths and needs, setting personal goals and providing an environment that encourages overall growth and development.

Objectives

We define our Objectives with the 4 A's

Awareness - public awareness and acceptance of cancer, health, water and sanitation related issues (examining, education, research)
Alignment - Global alignment of local, national and international campaign initiatives
Advocacy - Carried out Advocacy with Public Domain, Government, Health Care Institutions and Industries about related issues.
Alliances - For common objectives partnering with Public Institutions, Government, Health Care Institutions and Industries.

Values

Values of Foundation are based on philosophy and best cultural practices followed by our founder members and their family. Irada’s core values define our culture, beliefs, principles and practices in the conduct of our operations and dealing with our stakeholders. Our vision, mission and goals are aligned with our value system.
